I woke up this morning and saw that Curren$y (@CurrenSy_Spitta) tweeted the video for “Rapper Weed”. This was the very first Closed Session that we did, and boy, have we improved a great deal since then. You can see, we didn’t have the documentary part really worked out, the name, or even what we wanted to do. The idea was get some beats from some of Chicago’s best producers, bring in a dope artist for our Dimes and Dozens party, then take them to the studio and play them the beats. It’s grown into much more than that… But this is a great trip down memory lane.
